I am going Crazy with Work !!

I cannot imagine that my classmate a Year 3 Person who is going to graduate is working like a turtle. Everything about her is turtlish. U knows how a turtle move? Slow and easy. So what to do, i have to work with her no Choice.
In a ward with 44 patients and we are in charge with 2 cubicles of 16 patients to take care of. I am really going to bite her head off. As a person, she is not bad. As a nurse, I wish I can throttle her.

Yesterday my cubicles, there were 3 drama Queens who kept crying non-stopped. Because the STUPID DOCTOR I really mean stupid. What he did?

He went and comment in front of the patient that her condition is worsening. (I want to FAINT le.) He said that to the Patient and can u imagine what come next? The DRAMA. It is actually like the babies at KKH when they are hungry, once one cries the whole row of babies cry together. Some more, it is nearly family visiting hours. So when the family came and saw their precious Patient crying, they were very worried. One of the family members started to speak very loudly to me and I have to ignore his comments but explain to him calmly and NICELY and continue my work. I had to swallow the humble Pie.

The other patient wants to go home and she start packing and walking around .But with her condition she is not suppose to walk around. In the end, she was restrained with Doc's permission and family consent. She nearly runs away because she was frightened of Operation. That I can understand. But still she cannot go home because her condition will be dangerous. Hence, she was shouting and scolding very loudly.

This last patient, I tell you just because she just came back from small operation hence she is restless. With the commotion around her, she wants to seek attention also. She started to cry. I did what I can for her and let her husband to take care of her. Her husband so Cute ask me if I had taken my dinner or not while I was busy taking care of his wife's needs.
All this Drama happens at family visiting hours. I have to deal with the patients and together with the family members. The best have yet to come.

MY SPCA = Senior Patient Care Assistant is the Icing on the Cake. She does nothing and is worse than the Turtle yr3. She gives command and asks us students to do and she gives instructions like a granny who nags about everything but not straight to the point. What to do ! I just give her the Ignore therapy.

I am busy and passing report and guess what! She asks me to prepare for her the procedure and she just stand there do NOTHING! She just keep checking and charting where we have already done for her. This is ridiculous! What has the world come to? ALAMAK i wanted to ask her to retired really coz she so old and cannot help much. This is not discriminating because she can't keep up and she can't do work. Instead she like a movie director keeps giving instructions and directing only. I mean if her directives were accurate and correct and clear i dont mind helping her . Most of the time , her instructions were actually meant for you to go round and round the "Merry go Round".
